Leisa (she/her) leads the Research & Insights team at Atlassian where she works across the organization, helping to unleash the potential in every team by building a better understanding of users and customers through the power of human-centered design.
Before joining Atlassian, Leisa led service design and user research for government agencies—she was the Head of Service Design at the Digital Transformation Agency of the Australian Government and the Head of User Research for the Government Digital Service (GDS) in the UK. For many years, Leisa worked and consulted as a Human Centered Research and Design expert with a wide range of organizations from internationally known brands to emerging tech startups.
Leisa enjoys sharing her experiences at design, research, customer experience and leadership conferences. She has two beautiful sons, is a frustrated gardener, and a compulsive photographer of sunrises.
