Kate has been a Research Operations specialist for more than a decade and has been instrumental in growing and shaping the practice globally. In 2018, Kate founded the ResearchOps Community and instigated the #WhatisResearchOps initiative, a global movement that put Research Ops on the map.
She stepped away from the ResearchOps Community in 2019 to focus on building out a global Research Operations team for Atlassian and founded the Cha-Cha Club, a members-only club for full-time Research Ops professionals.
Currently, Kate is mostly head down writing a book called Research That’s Scalable, which will be published by Rosenfeld Media in late ‘22. She lives in Sydney, Australia.
